As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Information Officer (CIO) works collaboratively with the executive team to provide strategic direction, oversight and stewardship for AFSC.
The CIO provides strategic leadership to the Digital Services Division, ensuring effective strategic and innovative practices which includes digital strategy, thereby supporting AFSC strategies and business priorities. The CIO is accountable for the development, delivery, and success of the technology roadmap for AFSC, which impacts all employees and clients.
This individual is responsible for ensuring the delivery of DS services to the business and to clients in keeping with established service levels and holds accountability for ensuring that the company’s data and information assets are secure.
The ideal candidate for this role, will be a seasoned executive with extensive experience developing and leading enterprise-wide IT and information security solutions, preferably in the Agriculture Services Sector and/or Technology Sector. You have demonstrated expertise in creating integrated and strategic functions and are experienced in leading major organizational change initiatives. Experience working within the Public Sector will also be an asset.
