In recognition of IT Professionalism Week and Remembrance Day, Master Corporal (Retired) Thomas Boxall will be talking about his career in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Signal Operator. He will be talking about how the various IT jobs in the military, and the unique challenges that servicemen face. MCpl (Ret) Boxall will be drawing from the lessons he learned over his career, and on his Tour of Duty to Afghanistan in 2004.

Thomas Boxall served in the Canadian Armed Forces fron June 1999 till June 2008. He was a Signal Operator with 734 Communication Squadron, a Reserve Communication Unit, and reached the rank of Master Corporal before being honourably discharged. MCpl (Ret) Boxall was proud to support several Regular Force Units throughout his career, including NORAD, and the Canadian Forces Joint Signal Regiment (CFJSR). MCpl (Ret) Boxall served one Tour of Duty with CFJSR to Afghanistan in 2004. He now serves as the Sergeant at Arms for Branch 35 of the Royal Canadian Legion.
