Featured Article from the ERA (Electronic Recycling Association), a CIPS Corporate Partner

Solar panels are an increasingly important source of renewable power but they are also complex pieces of technology that become big, bulky sheets of electronic waste at the end of their lives. They contain toxic materials like lead that can leach out as they break down, landfilling also creates new environmental hazards. And right now, most of the world doesn’t have a plan for dealing with them once its time for disposal…which is where the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) comes in. We will recycle your decommissioned solar panels free of charge as long as they are not broken.
