“Digital Leadership – Attract, Develop & Retain Your Top Tech Talent“
Overview:
Our world has become increasing dependent on digital technology. But no matter how clever we are with the technology, we are still dependent on people with various skills, competencies, and experience for everything we do. With the growing dependency on technology in nearly every industry, it’s no surprise that people with the required skills and competencies are in high demand, and many organizations are experiencing skills shortages.
Please join SFIA Accredited Consultant, Matthew Burrows for a brief lunch & learn webinar exploring why digital leadership requires us to understand the culture, skills, and competencies of our technology staff, an area where IT people are traditionally less comfortable.
Matthew will explore why creating a digital skills inventory can help organizations and individuals to determine the skills they have and plan for the skills required in the future and how with a clear communications plan, measuring digital skills and using the analytical data can provide immense value when it comes to employee experience employee, retention, and digital transformation success.
Matthew will also provide a brief introduction to SFIA (Skills Framework for the Information Age) used in nearly 200 countries around the world for digital skills measurement and for establishing a common language for skills, competencies, job roles and job descriptions.
