Edmonton Tech Connect Webinar – Introducing the CIPS Alberta Mentorship Program

On Thursday March 21st at 7pm MT Edmonton Tech Connect is hosting CIPS Alberta’s Sabina Posadziejewski, I.S.P., ITCP who will introduce the upcoming CIPS Alberta mentorship program for immigrants. Edmonton Tech Connect is a tech community in Edmonton for Africans who are involved with or want to get into tech space. Join this webinar to learn about Edmonton Tech Connect and this great new CIPS Alberta program.
About the Speaker:
Sabina Posadziejewski, MBA, COES, BRMP, CGEIT, I.S.P, ITCP is a seasoned executive leader in Information Management and Technology (IMT), having served both the public and private sectors. This included a variety of industries across Canada, the USA, and Europe with Scandinavia early in her career. She is now leading her own practice Bodacious Excellence since retiring from the public service.
Her current engagement is with CIPS (Canadian Information Processing Society) Alberta to develop and implement a mentorship program for skilled IT newcomers to Alberta. This multi-faceted program includes membership with this premiere national organization (since 1958), automated skills assessment based on the international Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA), mentor matching and group engagement, action planning for career planning with intended access to free SFIA mapped training course.
She achieved her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Alberta (1980) and followed later with an executive MBA from Canada’s leading School of Business, Queen’s University in 2000. Sabina also maintains several professional certifications.
Sabina is results-oriented and passionate about organizational excellence, professionalism, change management, service, lifelong learning, STEM, and mentorship.
